SOUND SYSTEM
The main PA is a flown, central cluster of eight Meyer UPA1s. There are also fills for the choir area, the royal box and the front stalls; these are a mixture of UPAs and Ums. The eight boxes each have their own speakers, which are delayed and equalized to blend with the main system. Two Meyer USWs take care of sub bass. This is all run in mono from an Allen and Heath GL 3300 32/8/2 desk. The system is powered in the main by H&H M900 amplifiers and Meyer processors and parametric equalizers control the signal. The system is regularly maintained.

Monitoring is provided by four Martin Audio LE400s, which would normally be run from front of house.
Front of house outboard consists of a Yamaha Rev500, a Drawmer DL221 compressor/limiter and a Denon double CD player.
We have a selection of microphones from Shure, Beyer, AKG, Senheisser and Crown. Three mics are provided free of charge with the hire.
The system benefits from extensive patching and the desk is connected via BSS active splitters to tie lines built into the platform and around the auditorium.
 We also have the facility to record acoustic concerts straight to CD-R or we can make more complex recordings if requested. Costs and copying charges are available on request.
